Flagstaff Snowbowl
The Snowbowl may be known for its skiing, but it is also worth coming here just for the views, especially as it is just a few miles from Flagstaff - to the northwest. This is the tallest peak in the whole of Arizona and therefore, you can only imagine the views. Take the lift to the top and try to arrive early to avoid the queues.

Enormous Meteor Crater - Amazing!
This famous Meteor Crater is something like 50,000 years old, so it's certainly far from being a new attraction, and yet it is hugely popular still. It is around 30 miles from Flagstaff. People just can't seem to get enough of it and when you come here you will certainly see why. One word - extraordinary. Two words - massive, gargantuan. It really is a whopper. It is around 1,200 meters wide and 160 meters deep, so don't lean too far over the edge! You can even see a piece of the meteor itself which caused the impact. There's not much of it left though. Wonder where it went?!

Flagstaff Wupati National Monument
The Wikoti pueblo ruins are really quite remote and seemingly in the middle of nowhere. It's amazing to think of people living here once upon a time, although there were only a few families here at most. You can really explore the structre and have a good look around. It is part of the actual Wupatki National Monument and is near to the Sunset Crater.
